A Portrait of Marina Abramovic 3D

We are proud to have supported artist Matthu Placek, Director of “130919 - A Portrait of Marina Abramovic.” Producer Matthew Shattuck and OFFHOLLYWOOD's 3D Producer A.J. Del Cueto, pulled together an incredible crew based around Cinematographer Michael Berlucchi (2013 ICG Emerging Cinematographer Honoree) and Stereographer Alonso Homs (The Great Gastby).

Chris Burket, 3D Rig Technician (Oz, Stalingrad) worked in conjunction with the guys over at Majestic Light and their 50’ Super Technocrane and Alpha Stabilized head to bring together the continuous 5-minute 3D shot with ATOM and EPIC 3D systems from Offhollywood.

After a very successful premiere at the 2013 Art Basel Miami Beach International Arts Festival the piece was noted by The New York Times, The Miami Herald, and Style.com as one of the Top 10 must see short films of the season. Deadline released the announcement that “A Portrait of Marina Abramovic” will screen at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in the Short Films category.

The film was supported with grants from the National YoungArts Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund and The Knight Foundation and presented by Visionaire Films.
