Two films in Sundance 2009!

After learning Toe to Toe was in competition at Sundance, today we found out that Mystery Team would make it's world premiere at Sundance as well - in the Park City at Midnight screening series. Both films are 100% shot on Red with cameras & post by Offhollywood. Mystery has only some last tweaks as they made a few edits after the color grading - and Toe To Toe is 2/3 the way through their color correct now. We'll master to tape prior the week of Christmas. Toe to Toe (Director and Screenwriter: Emily Abt)--The story of an inter-racial friendship put to the test by the intense pressures of a competitive Washington, D.C. prep school. Cast: Sonequa Martin, Louisa Krause, Silvestre Rasuk, Anwan Glover, Gaius Charles. World Premiere Mystery Team/U.S.A. (Director: Dan Eckman; Screenwriters: Dominic Dierkes, Donald Glover, and DC Pierson)--A group of kid detectives called The Mystery Team struggle to solve a double murder to prove they can be real detectives before they graduate from high school. Cast: Dominic Dierkes, D.C. Pierson, Donald Glover, Aubrey Plaza, Glenn Kalison. World Premiere

Slamdance should announce their line-up next week and I'm crossing my fingers for Rosencrantz & Guilderstern are Undead - the second feature Offhollywood supported on the RED - as it would be such a perfect fit for Slamdance. It also turns out that MANURE, which is a film directed by the Polish Brothers, shot all on the RED by ASC cinematographer David Mullen will premeier at the fest as well. David Mullen is moderator on and extremely generous with his wealth of knowledge. There is a long thread where David posts details of shotting the film and some images from the film HERE
